we have Handed down legalism, not love

viscous attitudes have wounded the ability to speak to the world about Jesus. Christians have failed to live like Jesus. we have Handed down legalism, not love. where did it all go wrong? well, in America, its a simple matter of pluralism. everybody has an opinion that matters. yeah, so suddenly my Christian perspective have places me at odds with those who have different perspectives.  oh well. does that give Christians a right to wage a culture war? nope. We are supposed to people of love. I am a failure at loving others, but that doesn’t change the message. Jesus loved failures and outcasts. I may disagree with you, but i need not disrespect you. Everyone has something valuable to offer. i don’t care where you stand. I need to love you like Jesus loves. if i succumb to my ‘Christoligion’ i’m abundantly sorry. its how we are taught. its time to break free of religion and follow Jesus together. If you don’t know Jesus, or don’t like the message, I’m ok with that.

nope, not me…

I have a tendency to go on about things that don’t really matter. thats why i have a blog. you, dear reader get to view what every happens to be on my mind. i know, its real exciting. seriously, i could spend some time discussing current events, but others do that. i could rail about politics, but i would just be another voice in the crowd. religion, i could entertain some serious notions, but i don’t think a blog would really depict who i am in Christ. so, what should i talk about. should i have an agenda? nope, not me, i want the freedom to speak about whatever happens to be floating around inside my noggin. today, just this. tomorrow who knows. but now i am going to play some madden and go talk to my wife.
